History

Konsilia, the origins

Leon Jose del Canto, Fernando’s father, established his Bufete de Abogados in Jerez de la Frontera in 1981. His original partners were Antonio Fernandez, formally an elected local government representative with the Junta de Andalucia, Manuel Gutierrez Maireles, a Spanish Army Official, and Alfonso Villa, represented now by Ana Villa in Konsilia.

Leon Jose retired from his legal practice in 2008 and his son, Leon Fernando del Canto continues with the family legal tradition.

After returning from New York, Fernando was called to the Bar with the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Jerez de la Frontera in 1999 before relocating to England to further qualify as Tax Counsel.
